Kia has decided that plain dashboards are a bit… boring. So it’s teamed up with Disney to inject a whole lot more personality into your infotainment system – rolling out official Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic display themes across its latest models.
Available on cars fitted with Kia’s ccNC infotainment system, these themes don’t just change a wallpaper or two. They redesign the whole digital vibe – menus, graphics, animations, and start-up screens – turning your daily commute into something that feels part road trip, part cinematic universe.
Want Mickey & Friends greeting you every morning? Done. Fancy Avengers visuals while navigating rush-hour traffic? Assemble. Prefer cruising with The Mandalorian riding shotgun? This is the way.
Kia says each theme is designed to create emotional moments from start-up to arrival – tapping into nostalgia, fandom, and shared experiences, especially for families. Expect big Pixar energy for the kids, Marvel heroics for grown-ups who pretend they’re not into superheroes anymore, and National Geographic visuals for those who like their dashboard with a side of enlightenment.
The first themes – including Toy Story, Mickey & Friends, and Marvel’s Avengers – roll out first, with around 30 themes planned by 2026. You’ll be able to browse and buy them via a dedicated Disney section in the Kia Connect Store, with each theme costing £18 and tied to the vehicle (not your account – no swapping cars like Infinity Stones).
It’s all delivered over-the-air too, meaning no dealer visits, no USB sticks, and no awkward explanations to service advisors about why Darth Vader is now your co-pilot.
