The Nextbase iQ has been named Best Dash Cam in the T3 Awards 2026, with the technology publication recognising its combination of recording capability and connected vehicle security features.

While traditional dash cams focus primarily on capturing footage after an incident, T3 highlighted how the Nextbase iQ – which retails at £349 for the top-spec 4K version – aims to operate more like a complete vehicle monitoring system.

Also available in 1K and 2K versions, the iQ includes features such as Smart Sense Parking, which monitors the vehicle while parked, Guardian Mode, which allows owners to set speed and location alerts, and Witness Mode, which enables drivers to share live footage during emergency situations.

T3 said: “Dashcams have become an essential part of modern driving, and while all offer the basics of video capture to give you evidence of any accidents, some go that little bit further.”

The publication added that the Nextbase iQ “works more like a complete car security system than just a simple dash cam”, praising its range of smart features and optional rear camera capability.

The 70mai 4K A810 Lite, costing £129, was named Highly Commended in the category.

The award forms part of the wider T3 Awards 2026, celebrating the publication’s favourite technology products across multiple categories.
