Skoda is taking its Simply Clever approach beyond the factory, offering drivers free files to 3D-print their own in-car accessories at home.

Available through the carmaker’s profile on Printables.com, the growing collection includes cupholders, storage boxes, cable organisers, coin boxes, phone brackets and hooks for seat-back pockets. The accessories are designed to make everyday life with a Skoda a little more convenient, without the need to buy dedicated accessories or modify the car.

The range has been developed by Skoda’s innovation incubator, engineers and designers. Many of the designs fit existing storage compartments, while others add useful features such as USB cable hooks and organisers for the centre console.

There are also accessories tailored to the Epiq and Peaq EV models, including a lower-console organiser, storage inserts and cupholder covers. The Peaq’s foldable table gets its own clip-on cupholder, designed to accommodate both standard and larger cups.

Skoda says the collection covers current vehicles as well as many discontinued models, potentially giving owners of older cars access to useful additions without relying on conventional aftermarket products.

The files can be downloaded for free, although users will need access to a suitable 3D printer and the materials required to produce each item. Drivers should also check that any printed accessory fits securely and does not obstruct controls, visibility or safety equipment.

The full collection is available at Printables.com/@Skoda.
