Skoda’s Vision App Concept has won a Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026, with the international jury recognising its clear and intuitive UX/UI design and focus on the user.
The concept explores how Skoda’s digital ecosystem could evolve beyond today’s MySkoda app, with a more personalised and context-aware experience designed to support drivers throughout their journey.

At its centre is Laura, an AI-powered digital assistant that can proactively help prepare for upcoming journeys, optimise charging and vehicle settings and coordinate travel plans. It can even create shareable memories from trips, because apparently taking 400 photos of your holiday wasn't enough.
The idea is to make the technology work around the driver rather than forcing the driver to dig through menus looking for it, with services adapting to what the user needs before, during and after a journey.
The Red Dot recognition also takes Skoda’s total haul to 21 Red Dot Design Awards across different categories. The company previously picked up a Red Dot in 2021 for an earlier mobile app concept in the Interface & User Experience Design category.
The Vision App remains a concept rather than a new app you can download today, but it offers a glimpse at how Skoda sees the relationship between its cars, apps and AI developing in the future.
