VIDEO: Fish56Octagon Takes His Nissan Cube DJ Build to Central London – and Now Wants Your Cars

Fresh from unveiling his Kicker-equipped Nissan Cube built by Team Impulse, viral DJ sensation Fish56Octagon has taken things a step further – rolling the mobile set-up into central London for an impromptu street set.

The music artist took time out of his busy schedule playing UK clubs, festivals, and the occasional gig in Ibiza to announce the invitation on his Instagram page. “Yes London, who fancies a free street party?” he said in a video walking around the car, its boot open to show off its wall of Kicker subs. After naming the time and location, he promised to “smash out a load of garage and bassline” until he was told to stop.

The pop-up performance drew a crowd, with Fish running his full DJ set-up directly from the vehicle, complete with fold-out Pioneer DJ decks, turning the Cube into a temporary open-air sound system in the heart of the city.

And it seems the Cube is more than a gimmick or a way for Fish to promote his DJ skills – his interest in cars is serious, dates back many years, and is now at the point where he’s looking to take it further.

The DJ has announced plans for a new social series featuring followers’ cars, inviting fans to submit their own vehicles for upcoming content.

As he explains: “Cars is my other hobby… it was what I was doing first on social media before music. We’re going to come out and feature followers’ cars. It’s going to be proper banging.”

Anyone looking to apply and show off their car to Fish56Octagon and his crew – and possibly play some tunes on his Nissan Cube install – can apply here.

Given the reaction to the London set, the idea of exploring fans’ cars is likely to draw attention from anyone within earshot.
