Geely Tech EU and 3SS Launch In-Car Entertainment Hub for Zeekr Premium EVs Across Europe

Geely Auto Group has teamed up with 3 Screen Solutions (3SS) to launch a new in-car Entertainment Hub for Zeekr – its high-end electric vehicle brand – as part of a wider push to turn its cars into fully connected digital platforms. The new system is being rolled out across Zeekr models in Europe and has been developed by Geely Technology Europe (formerly Zeekr Technology Europe), working in partnership with 3SS and its 3Ready Automotive entertainment platform.

The resulting system will bring streaming platforms, live TV and news channels directly into the car’s native screens. It will integrate more than 15 global content providers, all designed to feel seamless whether you’re driving, parked, or sat waiting on a charger.

Vehicles like the Zeekr 7X could be among those benefitting from the new system

Running on Android Automative OS, the platform gives Zeekr full control over interface and user experience, while remaining scalable across future models and updates. The system also allows for branded content and service messaging to be delivered directly into the car without requiring full over-the-air software updates.

One of the more interesting elements is the introduction of a dedicated Zeekr channel within the system. This creates a direct communication line between the brand and the driver, delivering personalised content, service information and responses straight to the vehicle screen.

In effect, it turns the car into a two-way digital touchpoint – not just a product that receives updates, but a platform that actively communicates with its owner.

Behind the scenes, usage data and analytics help tailor content and recommendations over time, meaning the experience evolves depending on how the car is used.

For Zeekr, it’s another step in the shift towards software-defined vehicles, where the infotainment experience is as important as the drivetrain. For everyone else, it’s a reminder that the humble dashboard is now officially a media platform.
