Kia’s Got Netflix in the Car Now – And a Smarter App to Match

Fancy a bit of Stranger Things while charging the EV? Or a Frozen singalong with the kids on a long pit stop?Kia’s just made that a reality with the launch of its new Entertainment Package– a premium in-car streaming service now rolling out across Europe. And yes, the UK gets it too.

The service debuts on the all-electric KiaEV3, and it’s set to hit other models soon, including the new Sportage, EV4,EV5, and beyond. Designed to turn your car into a rolling media hub (while you’re safely parked, of course), the Entertainment Package gives you access toNetflix, Disney+, YouTube, karaoke, news, and even a few curveballs like fine art displays. Culture and car snacks? Don’t mind if we do.

There are three subscription tiers –Standard, Plus, and Plus WIFI – so you can choose your level of indulgence, whether you’re after the basics or want the full smart-TV-on-wheels experience. The higher tiers even run on LG’s webOS platform, so the interface is proper slick.

You’ll need your own Netflix or Disney+login, of course, and it only plays video when parked (no Drive to Survive while actually driving, sorry), but the experience is designed to feel just like home.

But that’s not all Kia’s been up to.They’ve also rolled out a brand-new Kia App, combining five separate apps into one tidy, user-friendly platform. Instead of hopping between Kia Connect, KiaCharge, MyKia and all the rest, it’s now just one login and everything’s at your fingertips.

Need to check your car’s charge? Done. Want to pre-cool the cabin on a hot day? Easy. Route planning with EV charging stops? It’s in there. You can even book your next service, access your digital warranty book, and check your driving safety score – because Kia's now also your personal co-pilot/mum.

Designed for real-world use and tested inEurope before anyone else outside Korea, the app also supports shared access, so your partner or co-driver can join the fun. Kia’s clearly thinking ahead here, especially with future plans for business tools, fleet integration, and something called PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) coming soon.

So, whether you’re binge-watching in yourEV3 or just checking your next MOT date, Kia’s making sure your car’s as smart as your phone – and maybe even a bit cooler.
