Chinese vehicle brand Omoda has unveiled its next-generation Super AI Cockpit ahead of the launch of the Omoda 4 SUV hybrid later this year. The new system has been designed to move beyond conventional voice assistants by continuously learning driver habits, recognising routines and delivering increasingly personalised recommendations through over-the-air software updates.
Powered by ByteDance’s Seed large language model (LLM) and advanced Agentic AI architecture, the Super AI Cockpit is intended to function as an intelligent companion rather than simply responding to predefined commands. Omoda says the system can understand driver intentions, recognise habits, respond to emotions and adapt its behaviour over time, creating a driving experience that becomes increasingly personalised throughout ownership.
The platform supports natural conversations with the vehicle while coordinating multiple AI agents behind the scenes. These can manage navigation, entertainment, vehicle settings and connected services simultaneously, allowing users to interact more intuitively while keeping their attention on the road.
Future over-the-air updates will further improve its understanding of user behaviour, daily routines and lifestyle preferences, with the platform evolving into a fully integrated AI mobility companion that continuously gains new capabilities throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle. Intelligent lighting, entertainment functions and connected services will even work together to support different scenarios, such as listening to music, relaxing after work or heading away for the weekend.
