Chinese carmaker Omoda is offering a new specification grade for the Omoda 7 in the UK. Called Noble Tech, the new trim level is the brand’s most tech-focused yet and introduces two stand-out features: Remote Parking Assistance and a 15.6in sliding touchscreen.
Remote Parking Assistance allows the driver to manoeuvre the vehicle into or out of parking spaces while standing outside the car using the key fob. The system supports parallel, perpendicular and angled parking, and marks the first time Omoda has offered the technology in the UK.

Inside, the dashboard’s central touchscreen can physically slide sideways across the cabin towards the front passenger. The ultra-thin 2.5K display allows users to interact with media, climate and navigation functions more directly, creating a more personal entertainment experience.
The Omoda 7 Noble Tech also carries over the brand’s existing premium cabin features, including a 12-speaker Sony audio system, panoramic roof, heated and ventilated front seats, and an integrated fragrance system with three selectable scents. And no in-car toilet, which a rival Chinese firm has come up with.
Power comes from parent company Chery International’s 1.5-litre Super Hybrid System plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining petrol and electric power for up to 204PS and a claimed total range of more than 700 miles.

Priced from £35,505 with Noble Tech, £29,965 without, the Omoda 7 continues the brand’s push to make in-car technology a key selling point.
