England’s stars are preparing for another World Cup challenge tomorrow night against Norway, but away from the pitch, some members of the Three Lions squad are competing in another league entirely – the luxury car rankings.
New research from Approved Motor Finance has revealed the most expensive cars owned by England players, with everything from McLaren supercars and Rolls-Royce SUVs to Bentley grand tourers appearing in the top spots.
But beyond the price tags, what technology are these footballing superstars getting inside their cars?
We take a look at three of the biggest names – and the premium in-car systems they could be enjoying.
Taking the top spot is Marcus Rashford’s McLaren 765LT, an ultra-focused supercar estimated to be worth more than £530,000 in MSO (McLaren Special Operations) specification.
Built around performance rather than luxury, the 765LT follows McLaren’s philosophy of reducing weight wherever possible – and that includes the cabin technology.
The standard car features McLaren’s portrait-oriented 8in infotainment display, with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, voice control and 4G connectivity, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were not originally included as standard.

For buyers wanting more, McLaren offered options including the premium Bowers & Wilkins 12-speaker audio system – although many 765LT owners prioritise weight saving over sound systems.
That creates an interesting contrast: a car costing more than half a million pounds where the ultimate luxury may actually be keeping things simple.
For a player like Rashford, however, the MSO division means almost every element can be personalised, from carbon-fibre details to bespoke interior finishes.
At No 2 is Anthony Gordon’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II Black Badge, a luxury SUV that takes a very different approach to performance.
Where the McLaren focuses on speed, the Cullinan is designed to create one of the most refined travelling environments possible – effectively turning the cabin into a private lounge.
The centrepiece of the technology package is Rolls-Royce’s Spirit infotainment system, featuring a 12.3in touchscreen, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside connected services through the Whispers app.

For audio, the Cullinan’s bespoke 18-speaker system is engineered specifically around the cabin, using carefully positioned speakers to create an immersive 360-degree listening experience.
Rear passengers can also enjoy their own entertainment screens, USB and HDMI connectivity, and wireless headphones – ideal for relaxing after a long training session or travelling between fixtures.
It’s less “supercar soundtrack” and more “five-star hotel on wheels”.
England captain Harry Kane’s Bentley Continental GT Mulliner sits third on the list, combining traditional British luxury with some seriously advanced technology.
The Continental GT offers Bentley’s rotating display system, allowing drivers to switch between a 12.3in touchscreen, classic analogue dials and a clean dashboard finish at the touch of a button.
Connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, while buyers can choose between several premium audio upgrades.

For a Mulliner-specification car at this level, Kane’s Bentley could be equipped with the flagship Naim for Bentley system – an 18-speaker, 2,200W setup developed specifically for Bentley cabins.
Featuring Active Bass Transducers built into the front seats and multiple sound modes, it’s designed to deliver a concert-like experience rather than simply making music louder.
The alternative Bang & Olufsen system offers 16 speakers and 1,500W of power, but the Naim option represents the ultimate audio upgrade.
