If you've ever wanted futuristic mood lighting in your car that pulses in sync with your music, you’re in luck – Govee has just launched a new in-car system designed to do exactly that.
Its new RGBIC Interior Car Lights are designed specifically for automotive use, moving the brand’s smart lighting tech from homes to the road for the first time.
The kit includes four strips, each made up of 18 individual LEDs, designed to be mounted in different areas of the cabin depending on layout. Power is supplied via a standard 12V auxiliary socket, making installation straightforward with no hardwiring required.

Control is handled through the Govee smartphone app over Bluetooth, allowing drivers to adjust brightness, switch colours and cycle through 30 preset lighting scenes. These range from subtle ambient tones such as Candlelight and Romantic to more animated modes like Party and Driving.
A built-in microphone in the control unit also enables music synchronisation, with the lighting reacting in real time.
Govee says the flexible layout allows the system to be adapted to different vehicle types, with cable lengths of up to 1.8m enabling more creative positioning across dashboards, footwells or door trims.
Already well known for its wider smart lighting range, this marks the company’s first dedicated automotive interior product – and at under £35, it sits firmly at the accessible end of the in-car customisation market.
