Stuttgart has just dropped the all-new electric GLC with EQ Technology, and honestly, it’s less car, more “living room on wheels.” Unveiled at IAA MOBILITY 2025 last month in Munich, this is the first Mercedes-Benz to show off the brand’s new Sensual Purity design language – a fancy way of saying it’s sleek, swoopy, and makes you want to never leave the car.
The headline act? The all-new MBUX Hyperscreen. Stretching a majestic 99.3cm (39.1in) across the dashboard, it’s a single seamless panel with over 1,000 individually controlled LEDs and matrix backlight tech. Zone dimming means your navigation doesn’t get lost in the glare of Spotify, and everything is easy on the eyes – even if you’re squinting at your dashboard like it’s a sudoku puzzle.
It’s not just a pretty face. Ambient lighting reacts when you adjust the climate, vents are galvanised for that high-tech chill, and cupholders are elegantly separated (finally, no more spilled latte chaos). There’s also inductive and rapid smartphone charging, plus a hard-key control strip for the essentials – hazard lights included.
High-res atmospheric ambient styles let you dial the mood from “calm zen” to “techno rave,” perfectly synced with MB.OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System, natch) for a digital-meets-physical vibe. The homely Mercedes feeling has never felt so… well, like home.
