Skoda is adding a rather appealing extra to its new Peaq launch, with the first 100 UK customers to place an order receiving a free Sonos Play portable speaker.
The £299-RRP speaker is being offered to celebrate Skoda’s new partnership with Sonos, with the Peaq becoming the first model in the range to offer the premium audio brand’s in-car system.
The portable speaker is designed to take the soundtrack beyond the car, with Bluetooth connectivity when away from Wi-Fi, integration into Sonos multi-room systems and up to 24 hours of battery life. It is also IP67-rated for water and dust resistance, making it reasonably well equipped for life outside the living room.
We looked at the Peaq’s new 16-speaker, 755W Sonos system when it was first announced, with the electric seven-seat SUV itself priced from £51,980, with a claimed range of up to 395 miles. Orders open from August 20, with first deliveries expected in early 2027.
There is, however, a fairly important bit of small print: the free speaker is only available to the first 100 customers who place an order with a Skoda retailer.
If you were already considering a Peaq, there is now a rather tempting reason not to leave the order too late.
