A global search for the best retailers, installers, sales representatives and businesses in the mobile electronics industry has begun, with nominations now open for the 2027 Mobile Electronics Industry Awards.
Organised by the Mobile Electronics Association (MEA) in the US, the awards recognise companies and individuals demonstrating high standards of quality and service across the mobile electronics industry. Although the MEA and the awards are based in the States, the nominations are open to professionals worldwide, including the UK, South Africa, Asia and beyond.
Nominations are open to retailers, installation technicians, vendors, distributors and sales representatives, with nominees required to submit a short video outlining their qualifications.
The first stage will see judges select the Top 50 Retailers, Top 50 Installers and Top 20 Sales Professionals, who then progress to the next phase of the awards.
Nominations are also open for top vendors, sales representatives, firms and distributors.
The awards aim to recognise more than sales performance, highlighting businesses and individuals demonstrating quality, service and excellence within the mobile electronics industry.
“The Industry Awards process is one of the most anticipated events in the mobile electronics industry,” said Chris Cook, MEA president. “Professionals promote themselves in one phase, then turn to their peers and customers for support in the next. The final phase is a demanding preparation of materials that reveals a lot about a person’s character or a business’s direction. The ones that finish come out sharper, and most say it’s as fulfilling as it is challenging.”
Nominations close on September 7, giving industry professionals several weeks to put themselves or a colleague forward.
The awards ceremony will take place during a special event at KnowledgeFest Las Vegas, held at the Paris Hotel & Convention Center from February 3-6, 2027. The event is also streamed online for those outside the US.
For anyone working in mobile electronics, the awards offer an opportunity to recognise the people and businesses making an impact across the industry – while putting their own work in the spotlight.
