SCR Distribution in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, is preparing to open a new showroom and training centre for its trade customers, expanding its facilities to showcase its car audio products, sound deadening and Presto Connect installation components.
Managing director Peter Preston announced recently that the company had received the keys to the new building, with work on the showroom starting immediately and progress updates posted online. The project will continue throughout the remainder of 2026, with the showroom expected to open to visitors soon.
The new premises will provide space for customers to see and hear products from SCR Distribution’s portfolio, alongside facilities for training, a social media office and indoor space for demo cars. The additional capacity will also create room for new staff as the business grows.
Warehouse and production operations will remain in the company’s existing building. Installation work will also continue at the original premises through North VAG Solutions, which will fit SCR Distribution’s products in vehicles.
The expansion follows the company’s recent appointment as UK distributor for ISP Audio, an Italian manufacturer of car audio power distribution products.
ISP Audio’s range includes ANL and MiniANL fuse blocks and ground distribution blocks. The products are manufactured in Italy, with an emphasis on copper construction, practical installation and precision machining.
The agreement adds another specialist brand to SCR Distribution’s portfolio, which includes Audiofrog, AI Sonic, CTK, DD Audio, Esatto Audio, Feelart, Passione Audio, Press Play, Presto Connect and Soundigital.
The new showroom will give installers and retailers an opportunity to explore the range in person, while the planned training facilities and demo cars will provide additional ways to experience the products.
Preston thanked the company’s customers for their support, saying their contribution had helped make the expansion possible. Further details of the showroom opening are expected as work progresses.
